Born in Pasadena California 11/07/1941 to loving parents Robert and Virginia Babcock. She became a Registered nurse in 1962 graduating from Pasadena City College. She met her future husband Kenneth Griffith at Methodist hospital in Pasadena. He was one of her best patients and little did she know he was to be her future husband. She has two daughters Jennifer Sommers and Stephanie Griffith RN. She became a diabetic at a young age and struggled with the disease throughout her life. She and Ken owned an Italian Restaurant for 18 years, 'Mama's Olde Tyme Pizza' in Covina California. If you would like to donate to diabetic research I'm sure she would have felt honored. She passed away due to complications of diabetes on Sunday June 25, 2006 peacefully with her loving family at her side.
